Job summary

Lippert seeks a CMM Operator/Programmer to join our quality team in the US. You will develop CMM programs, run measurements, and document results to ensure products meet customer specifications and delivery requirements.

You will partner with production and quality leadership to investigate nonconformances, perform capability studies, and support PPAP dimensional requirements while maintaining strict adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

  • Advanced education preferred.
  • CMM Programming.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory and manufacturing software.
  • GD&T knowledge and experience.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.

  • Develop and create CMM Programs
  • Ensure quality of product meets company’s standards

  • Provide appropriate blueprint change request to engineering.
  • Ensure compliance of all divisional safety policies and procedures

  • Proficient in GD+T.
  • Proficient with inspection equipment including: Calipers, Tape Measure, Gages, Micrometers, height gages.

CMM Operator/Programmer

Our CMM Operator/Programmers are responsible for quality operations in divisional areas to ensure production lines produce a product that meets customer quality and delivery requirements. This includes but are not limited to: Measuring process performance, investigation, and reporting in support of manufacturing operations.


Responsibilities


  • Develop and create CMM Programs

  • Ensure quality of product meets company’s standards

  • Investigation and work corrective actions for product opportunities

  • Proficient in GD+T.

  • Proficient with inspection equipment including: Calipers, Tape Measure, Gages, Micrometers, height gages.

  • Must be able to perfom and evaluate results of various types of testing, document inspection and / or test results.


Required Education and Experience


  • Advanced education preffered.

  • CMM Programming

  • Basic knowledge of inventory and manufacturing software

  • GD+T knowledge and experinence

  • Working knowledge of MS Office


Preferred Education and Experience


  • Previous quality experience preferred

  • Quality assurance and auditing experience in a similar industry preferred. Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills preferred.


Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
