Job summary

Lippert Components, Inc. is seeking a CMM Operator/Programmer to support quality operations across divisional areas. You will develop CMM programs, verify product conformity, and report nonconformances while collaborating with production and quality teams to drive corrective actions. This on-site role emphasizes GD&T expertise and accurate measurement using standard inspection equipment.

Qualifications

• Advanced education preferred.
• CMM Programming proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and create CMM programs.
• Ensure product quality meets company standards.

CMM Operator/Programmer

Our CMM Operator/Programmers are responsible for quality operations in divisional areas to ensure production lines produce a product that meets customer quality and delivery requirements. This includes but is not limited to: Measuring process performance, investigation, and reporting in support of manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and create CMM Programs
• Ensure quality of product meets company's standards
• Investigation and work corrective actions for product opportunities
• Document nonconformance reports
• Coordinate with production and quality leaders on a variety of quality issues
• Provide appropriate blueprint change request to engineerin.
• Ensure compliance of all divisional safety policies and procedures
• Perform capabilities studies
• Support PPAP dimensional requirements
• Understand capability studies.
• Proficient in GD+T.
• Proficient with inspection equipment including: Calipers, Tape Measure, Gages, Micrometers, height gages.
• Must be able to perfom and evaluate results of various types of testing, document inspection and / or test results.

Required Education and Experience

• Advanced education preffered.
• CMM Programming
• Basic knowledge of inventory and manufacturing software
• GD+T knowledge and experinence
• Working knowledge of MS Office

Preferred Education and Experience

• Previous quality experience preferred
• Quality assurance and auditing experience in a similar industry preferred. Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills preferred.
