Job summary

CMI Group in Tempe, AZ is seeking a First Article Inspector / CMM Operator for the night shift to join our aerospace team.

You will operate CMM systems (PC-DMIS), perform FAI, GD&T inspections, and assist night shift personnel with inspection methods in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

Attention to detail and ability to meet safety and drug-screen requirements are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Operate CMM and perform advanced mechanical inspection.

• Proficient in GD&T and advanced inspection techniques.

First Article Inspector / CMM Operator - Night Shift Position

Location: 1515 W 17th St, Tempe, AZ 85281

Shift

Night Shift (20% shift Differential)

CMM experience is required for this position (PC-DMIS).

Due to the nature of the work performed in our facilities, all employees must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Requirements

• Operate CMM (must have experience)
• Perform FAI (First Article Inspection)
• GD&T / Proficient at advanced mechanical inspection
• Manual CMM inspection using CMM Manager or equivalent
• Perform spot checks (In-process Inspection)
• Aid night shift employees with inspection methods

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and sit or stand up to 8 hours per day.
