Job summary

3-Dimensional Services Group is seeking an experienced CMM operator/programmer with PC-DMIS experience for 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm). Overtime should be expected. The role holds a fixture or part to specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities include programming and operating CMM with PC-DMIS, identifying deviations, generating documentation, performing in-process inspections with hand tools, and interpreting GD&T with blueprints. Strong math skills and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• PC-DMIS software experience required.
• 2+ years of related CMM inspection or programming experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and GD&T accurately.
• Strong math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CMM with PC-DMIS software.
• Identify product deviations and communicate corrections.
• Generate first article and final documentation for product submission.
• Perform in-process inspections using hand tools.
• Make adjustments to improve manufacturing processes.
• Interpret drawings with GD&T precision.
• Read and interpret engineered drawings.
• Log job time daily and follow PPE and safety policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Accurately generate both first article and final documentation necessary for product submission.
• Able to perform in-process inspections on various types of manufactured product using hand tools.
• Make adjustments necessary to improve product condition of most manufacturing processes.
• Intermediate to advanced blueprint interpretation. Full knowledge of drawing GD&T.
• Basic skills in the set-up and operation of common CMM Machines.
• Proficient in the use of precision hand tools. (micrometer, caliper, height gage)
• Able to read and interpret engineered drawings.
• Basic to medium skills in mathematics.
• Attention to safety protocols.
• Log job time, daily.
• Follow required PPE, and all Company and Safety policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
