Job summary

Barnes Aerospace, Inc. in Warren, MI, is seeking an experienced CMM Operator to develop and maintain PC-DMIS-based programs for production and first article inspections. You will interpret drawings and apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5.

You will support AS9102 First Article Inspections, troubleshoot dimensional issues, and optimize measurement strategies while guiding inspectors and manufacturing personnel. Strong communication and a detail-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of CMM programming experience.
• Minimum five years interpreting complex GD&T requirements.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Advanced knowledge of PC-DMIS software.
• Experience with Aerospace Machining and Inspection.
• First Article Inspection requirements knowledge.

Responsibilities
