Job summary

3-Dimensional Services Group is seeking an experienced CMM operator/programmer on 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm) in Michigan. Overtime is expected. You will program and operate a CMM using PC-DMIS and generate documentation for first article and final submissions.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of CMM experience, strong GD&T blueprint interpretation, and the ability to work independently or in a team while adhering to safety and PPE policies.

Qualifications

• PC-DMIS software experience required.
• 2+ years of CMM experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints with GD&T.
• Program and operate CMM to hold parts to specifications.
• Generate first article and final documentation for submissions.
• Perform in-process inspections using hand tools.
• Adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Overtime should be expected.Job Purpose: To hold a fixture or part to specifications or supplied drawings.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Ability to program and operate CMM with PC-DMIS software.Confident in the ability to accurately identify product deviations and relay information necessary to correct.Accurately generate both first article and final documentation necessary for product submission.Able to perform in-process inspections on various types of manufactured product using hand tools.Make adjustments necessary to improve product condition of most manufacturing processes.Intermediate to advanced blueprint interpretation. Full knowledge of drawing GD&T.Basic skills in the set-up and operation of common CMM Machines.Proficient in the use of precision hand tools.
