Job summary

The Entwistle Company is seeking a Metrology Quality Assurance Technician to perform detailed inspections of defense components and assemblies, using CMMs, FARO Arm, and Keyence Wide Area CMM. You will generate formal reports and ensure PO requirements are met.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of inspection experience, strong GD&T knowledge, and hands-on CMM proficiency, with a meticulous eye for detail and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent technical training.
• 5+ years of inspection experience with strong GD&T knowledge.
• Hands-on ability with Coordinate Measuring Machines.
• Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and solve problems independently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and execute mechanical and visual inspections on parts and assemblies.
• Operate and interpret results from CMMs, FARO Arm, and Keyence Wide Area CMM.
• Use micrometers, calipers, height stands, optical comparators, gauges and gauge blocks.
• Perform first-piece approvals and incoming vendor inspections per PO requirements.
• Create formal inspection reports aligned with procedures.
• Identify non-conformances and follow up on corrective actions.
• Monitor quality trends and escalate improvement opportunities.
• Interface with customer and government representatives.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and follow health and safety regulations.
