Zusammenfassung

Renishaw is seeking an Applications Engineer-CMM (OH-USA) to provide technical support and develop measurement solutions using Renishaw CMM and gauing technology. The role requires significant regional travel within the Midwest US and occasional domestic trips.

You will analyze customer inspection requirements, design CMM strategies, and program MODUS and DMIS; troubleshoot issues and assist in sales engagements. A BS in engineering and DMIS/programming experience are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Understanding of engineering principles and GD&T
• Strong troubleshooting and math skills (trigonometry)
• Familiarity with DMIS or other metrology languages
• Experience with programming (VB, Java, C++)
• Experience with CAD/CAM in manufacturing or QC environments
• Willingness to travel within the Midwest US and domestically

Aufgaben

• Develop CMM inspection strategies for complex components.
• Create and optimize MODUS and DMIS measurement programs.
• Analyze customer measurement requirements and support applications through proof-of-concept studies.
• Troubleshoot measurement issues and support startup/production ramp-up.
• Provide technical sales support with demonstrations and quotations.
• Train customers on CMM operation, MODUS programming, and measurement strategies.
