Job summary

The Atlas Group in Wichita, KS is seeking a Quality Inspector to operate CMM programs and perform CMM/bench inspections, ensuring parts meet engineering specs. You will review documentation, complete AS9102 First Article reports, and collaborate with departments to improve product quality.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years’ CMM experience, GD&T proficiency, and the ability to interpret blueprints. Training on Rockwell/Conductivity and NCR systems is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years related experience or equivalent.
• 3–5 years’ experience operating CMMs; Nikon Camio and PCDMIS experience preferred.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints/ drawings proficiently; GD&T experience.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and runs CMM programs to verify machined parts to engineering requirements.
• Performs CMM and bench inspections as needed.
• Reviews material and process documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Completes AS9102 first article inspections from CMM results.
• Works with all departments to improve quality of products.
