Qualifications

• Basic understanding of inspection or measuring devices (calipers, verniers).
• Ability to write and document findings with attention to detail.
• Capability to read technical drawings and understand blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Performs visual and dimensional inspection of mechanical components and assemblies to close tolerance; with assistance, perform 1st piece and in-process inspection.
• Identifies defects in surface, dimensional, visual and non-conformities per blueprints and quality standards; reports to supervisor and cell leader.
• Uses required inspection devices and instruments to verify drawing specifications.
• Follows work procedures and completes basic inspection forms as instructed.
• Prepares product and related paperwork for presentation to customer as instructed.
• Maintains clean, safe work environment and adheres to safety procedures; reports incidents.
