Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience operating CMMs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret customer specifications, blueprints, and operation sheets.
• Willingness to work overtime; strong math and communication skills; maintain records.
• Knowledge of precision measuring equipment; use quality tools and maintain inspection files.
• Commitment to high ethical standards and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct first piece inspections as required.
• Plan and perform inspections to check dimensions on various parts, gauges, tools, fixtures.
• Verify operation sheet meets blueprint requirements.
• Use CMMs’ optical comparators, sine plates, indicators, micrometers, V-blocks, verniers, parallels, height stands.
• Return part to operator and ensure proper gauging.
• Complete paperwork and documentation of dimensions.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
