Job summary

Kamatics Corporation seeks a Sr. Quality Inspector for the 2nd shift to perform advanced inspection activities on precision mechanical components and assemblies.

You will lead inspection efforts, ensure conformance to engineering and quality standards, and provide technical guidance to the team. The role requires 4+ years of inspection experience, proficiency with CMMs and precision measuring tools, and a deep understanding of GD&T.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 4 years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Expert knowledge of precision measuring devices, gauges, and testing instruments.
• Strong CMM operation and programming skills.
• Advanced blueprint reading skills, including GD&T interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of precision mechanical components and assemblies to close tolerances.
• Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections within assigned value streams.
• Identify and report surface, dimensional, visual, material, documentation, and workmanship non-conformances to engineering drawings and quality standards.
• Create and maintain inspection documentation including IMS, First Article Inspection (FAI), and related quality records.
• Prepare products and documentation for customer or source inspections and serve as a Designated Supplier Quality Representative when required.
