Job summary

Kamatics is seeking a CMM Operator in Bloomfield, CT to perform basic inspection activities including 1st piece and in-process checks. You will report to the Value Stream Manager and QA Supervisor to ensure production schedules and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include using inspection tools, documenting results, and maintaining a safe, organized work area. The role requires a High School diploma and preferred prior inspection experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some work experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document findings.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Basic math skills and understanding of SPC principles.

Responsibilities

• Performs visual and dimensional inspection of mechanical components and assemblies to close tolerance.
• Identifies defects and reports non-conformities to QA and cell leader.
• Uses required inspection devices and instruments to verify drawings.
• Maintains productivity and quality, following procedures and completing forms.
