Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare is seeking a CME Coordinator to develop and manage continuing medical education activities across the system, ensuring ACCME compliance and coordination with education partners. You will handle LMS administration, materials, evaluations, certificates and outcomes reporting.

The role involves coordinating events, supporting accreditation processes, and assisting with content entry and program testing, while delivering high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in education, communication, organizational development, health sciences, hospitality or related field.
• Two years of CME, CPD, adult education, and/or meeting planning experience, preferably in a health care environment.
• General knowledge of ACCME accreditation criteria; prior experience with the ACCME reaccreditation process.
• Prior experience or related experience in education (CME, CPD, or adult education).

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and administer a wide range of continuing medical education activities.
• Assist with CME accreditation, administration, and implementation of internal and external CME programs.
• Coordinate LMS administration, course materials, evaluations and certificates.
• Support accreditation processes to maintain program compliance with ACCME requirements.
• Provide customer service support and assist with program registration and documentation.
