Job summary

A leading international law firm is seeking a Structured Finance associate with a focus on commercial mortgage-backed securities, across its US offices in NY, Philadelphia, or Miami. The role offers exposure to sophisticated cross-border work and a prestigious client base, with a hybrid working model and strong training and progression opportunities.

You will conduct legal research, draft documents, manage transactions from inception to closing, and build client relationships while collaborating

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant structured finance role.
• Admitted to the state bar of your desired office location.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Sound business judgement and a commercial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support transaction preparation.
• Draft briefs, motions, contracts, and correspondence.
• Assist and manage complex cases or transactions from inception to closing.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with professional conduct.
• Collaborate with other lawyers to develop innovative case and transaction strategies.
