Midwest Health, Inc. in Bethany, OK is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to assist in administering medications as ordered by the attending physician, under supervision of nursing leadership, and in accordance with state requirements and community policies.

The role emphasizes maintaining medication safety, charting, privacy, and timely communication with the RCC/Nurse Supervisor to ensure quality resident care across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have CMA certification in good standing with the State.
• Able to operate a motor vehicle if required by policy.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsabilités

• Administer medications as ordered by attending physician under supervision.
• Comply with Community policies, safety, and procedures.
• Report abuse/neglect immediately to supervisor.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality.
• Document medication administration and charting.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and dating of medications.
• Notify supervisor of refusals or adverse reactions.
• Follow self-administration policies for residents where applicable.
