Job summary

Pivotal Health Care’s Westchester Village in Lenexa, KS is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide/Tech (CMA/CMT) to join our care team. This role passes medications under the supervision of the Charge Nurse and provides hands-on resident care in a senior living community.

The CMA/CMT works closely with nurses, follows physician orders, and contributes to a clean, safe environment. Qualified candidates have CMA/CNA certification, completed approved training, and a compassionate approach to

Qualifications

• Completed CMA/CNA training program.
• Certification as both CMA and CNA with competency examinations.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications under the direct supervision of the Charge Nurse according to physician orders and facility policy.
• Report changes in residents’ conditions immediately to the Charge Nurse.
• Review Tenant Service Plans to understand needs and preferences.
• Monitor and document health changes and health plans as required.
• Assist residents with medications and treatments as assigned and allowed by regulation.
• Respond to emergency calls promptly and maintain infection control procedures.
