Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a certified medical assistant to support staff in our FryeCare Generations Family Medicine location in Hickory, NC. The role involves direct patient care, accurate needs assessment, and timely medical record documentation.

You must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, CMA/RMA/CCMA certification within 60 days of hire, and BLS certification within 30 days. One year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification via AAMA or NHA within 60 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately identifies patient needs.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
