Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC seeks a compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our family medicine team. You’ll identify patient needs, provide age-appropriate care, and document medical necessity accurately in the medical record.

We offer a $2,500 sign-on incentive, comprehensive benefits, PTO, tuition assistance, and career growth. A high school diploma or equivalent, BLS within 30 days, and CMA/RMA/CCMA certification within 60 days are required; one year of experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CMA or RMA or CCMA certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately identifies patient needs
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
