Lifespace Communities is hiring a Medication Technician for our community in Austin, TX. You will set up medications for residents under nurse supervision, document care, and respond to resident requests, all while supporting daily living activities.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, some related experience, and the appropriate state licensure for medication aides. Join a mission-driven team delivering meaningful care to residents.

A few details about the role

• Set- up medication for residents and provide medication, under the direction and monitoring of a licensed nurse, and according to physician orders. May order/reorder medications.
• Record and document all medication, treatment and care provided for residents.
• Take and record vital signs of residents.
• Prepare monthly summaries, may take off physician orders and prepares chart for new residents.
• Respond to resident calls and requests.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
