Job summary

Lifespace Communities is seeking a Medication Technician at Querencia at Barton Creek in Austin, TX. You will set up medications under supervision, document care, and monitor residents’ vitals as part of a compassionate team dedicated to residents’ wellbeing.

You must have a high school diploma and a medication aide license per state requirements; prior related experience is preferred. This role is on-site and includes opportunities for growth within a mission-driven organization.

• Some directly related work experience preferred.
• Have and maintain medication aide licensure per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up medication for residents under the direction of a licensed nurse and per physician orders; may order/reorder medications.
• Record and document all medication, treatment and care provided.
• Take and record vital signs of residents.
• Prepare monthly summaries and charts for new residents as needed.
• Respond to resident calls and requests.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
