Job summary

Ephraim McDowell Health’s EM Multi Specialty Clinic is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a full-time 1st shift role to support reception, registration and checkout of patients. The CMA provides quality nursing care under supervision and helps maintain efficient clinic operations.

Preferred candidates have CMA certification in Kentucky, BLS within 3 months, and about one year of CMA experience in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited CMA training program.
• Current CMA Certificate in the State of Kentucky.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within three months of employment.
• Preferred one year CMA experience in clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform reception, registration and checkout of patients.
• Under supervision of physician/nurse practitioner provide quality nursing care for assigned patients.
• Contribute to professional accountability and growth to maintain knowledge and skills.
• Demonstrate F.I.R.S.T. values (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, Trust).
