Job summary

Ephraim McDowell Health in Kentucky is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support patient care and front desk operations. Under the supervision of the Center Manager and clinical staff, you will perform reception, registration and checkout duties for patients, while contributing to quality nursing care for assigned patients.

You will be expected to maintain professional accountability, adhere to the Organization's mission and F.I.R.S.T.

Qualifications

• Experience: Preferred one (1) year CMA experience in clinical setting.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited CMA training program.
• Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations: Current CMA Certificate in the State of Kentucky; BLS certification within three months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform reception, registration and checkout of patients.
• Provide quality nursing care for assigned patients under supervision.
