Job summary

Access Medical Clinic is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support clinical staff and patients at our Kentucky facility. You will prepare charts, pull notes, and assist with tests, vaccinations, and basic procedures.

You will maintain patient flow, document in EMR, and ensure HIPAA compliance throughout daily tasks. The role involves phlebotomy, vital signs, patient education, and collaboration with nurses to deliver quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; active state license or registration where applicable.
• BLS certification required; maintain current status during employment.
• CMA certification highly preferred and should remain active.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for patient visits by pulling charts and notes and setting up equipment.
• Monitor and record vital signs and medical history.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures and assist with minor clinical tasks.
• Provide care during patient visits and support nurses and providers.
• Operate and document using EMR for medical administrative tasks.
