Job summary

Prevea Health in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is seeking a Back CMA/LPN for the Surgery team at St. Mary’s MOB.

This full-time role (32 hours per week) supports pre-visit planning, routine rooming, procedures, discharge instructions, and administrative and clinical tasks under a medical provider’s direction. The candidate should have a Medical Assistant or Practical Nursing credential, with direct patient care experience and current licensure as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program or Practical Nursing program.
• Minimum 160 hours of direct patient care experience as MA/LPN.
• Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant – preferred.
• Current clinical experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse – preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, perform and document vital signs and patient histories.
• Coordinate provider schedules and appointments, enter orders, and prepare patient charts.
• Instruct patients and families within scope of licensure or certification.
• Assist medical providers with in-office procedures and prepare/administer medications and immunizations.
• Maintain exam rooms and equipment to meet infection control standards.
• Ensure appropriate levels of medical supplies for each patient room.

Job Overview

Back CMA/LPN Surgery – St. Mary's Medical Office Building (MOB), Full Time (32 hours per week). Location: Green Bay, Wisconsin, United States.

Summary

This position is responsible for pre‑visit planning, standard rooming responsibilities, assisting with procedures, discharge instructions, and carrying out administrative and clinical tasks as directed by a medical provider. The role creates a calm environment for patients and collaborates with providers throughout the visit.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, perform and document vital signs and patient histories.
• Coordinate provider schedules and appointments, enter orders, and prepare patient charts.
• Instruct patients and families within the scope of licensure or certification.
• Assist medical providers with in‑office procedures and prepare/administer medications and immunizations.
• Maintain exam rooms and equipment to meet infection control standards.
• Ensure appropriate levels of medical supplies for each patient room.

Licensing

• Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant license required.
