Job summary

AnMed in Anderson, SC, a not-for-profit health system, seeks qualified LPN or CMA candidates to join our patient care teams. The roles support examinations, procedures, referrals, and imaging while upholding compassionate, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must hold an LPN license in the state of South Carolina.
• CMA certification from AAMA, NHA, AMT or NCCT is required.
• CMA training program must be accredited and include anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patients and patient care areas are prepared for examinations and procedures.
• Assist providers with direct patient care, including messages, referrals and scanning, with demonstrated competency.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure patients and patient care areas are prepared for examinations and procedures
• Assist providers with all aspects of direct patient care with training and demonstrated competency as well as other tasks involved in patient care, such as messages, referrals and scanning.

Qualifications:

LPN

• Must be a licensedLPNin the state of SC

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

• Medical Assistant certification by AAMA, NHA, AMT or NCCT is required.
• CMA must be a graduate of a post-secondary medical assisting education program accredited by the National Healthcare Association, or its successor; by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, or its successor; by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools, or its successor; or by any accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education. The accredited post-secondary medical assisting education program must include courses in anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, pharmacology, medical laboratory techniques, and clinical experience.
