Job summary

Upland Hills Health is seeking a part-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support our Barneveld clinic and other UHH sites as needed. The role includes patient preparation, exams, vitals, phlebotomy, and coordination of care under provider supervision.

Two progression paths are offered: direct hire for experienced CMAs/LPNs or a PCT pathway for CNA/EMT-B to advance to CMA through structured training, with on-the-job coaching

Qualifications

BLS required (or obtained prior to start)
Experience in a clinic setting is beneficial
EPIC experience preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for visits and perform nursing procedures under supervision
Assist with exams and reviews, record medical history and vitals
Perform phlebotomy and basic lab tests if required
Sterilize instruments and assist with medications and refills as directed
Assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments in the clinic
Support front-office messaging and care team communications
May participate in CQI activities and organizational initiatives
