Job summary

Piedmont Medical Care Corporation in Georgia is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care under supervision of a physician, physician extender, or registered nurse. Responsibilities include front and back office tasks and adherence to established guidelines.

Eligible candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, and either a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant credential or two years of related clinical experience. CMA and BCLS certifications are preferred upon hire.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program is required.
• If education is not available, two years of medical assistant or related clinical experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, physician extender, or registered nurse.
• Perform front office and back office duties as assigned.
