Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship program required
• Certification requirements list CMA-AAMA or NCMA-NCTT and BCLS certification are required

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with clinical procedures such as taking vital signs and injections.
• Prepares and cleans exam rooms for patient visits and procedures.
• Performs patient intake duties and documents medical information as directed by licensed personnel.
• Maintains daily logs and documentation.
• Supports administrative duties including pre-registering patients and scheduling appointments.
• Maintains an organized workload while providing prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
• Monitors and requisitions clinic supplies and equipment to ensure inventory and functionality.
• Educates patients on medications, diets, and health topics.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
