The position requires 0–1 year of experience in a medical practice or externship, CMA-AAMA or NCMA-NCTT certification, and Basic Life Support. A team-focused, patient-centered approach is essential.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of experience in a medical practice or externship.
• Knowledge of medical office procedures and patient care techniques.
• Proficiency in medical record systems and basic computer applications (MS Office, Google Suite).
• Understanding of medical terminology and infection control.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities with patient focus.
• Demonstrated time management in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with clinical procedures such as vital signs, wound care, sutures, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, EKGs.
• Prepares and cleans exam rooms for patient visits and procedures.
• Performs patient intake duties, including reporting test results and triage.
• Maintains daily logs and documentation.
• Supports administrative duties: pre-registering patients, scheduling, referrals, and insurance verification.
• Maintains organized workload and delivers prompt, courteous service.
• Monitors supplies and equipment to ensure inventory and functionality.
• Educates patients on medications and health-related topics.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains attendance.
• Adheres to policies and standards.
