Job summary

CHS Career Site is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a Urology Clinic in Statesboro, GA. The CMA will support clinical and administrative functions, assist with procedures, manage patient intake, and ensure efficient clinic operations while delivering excellent patient service.

The ideal candidate has CMA certification (AAMA or NCMA) and BCLS, with 0–1 year experience in a medical setting; knowledge of EMR and office software is preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or externship completed.
• CMA-AAMA or NCMA certification preferred as listed
• BCLS certification required per job listing

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical procedures (vital signs, wound care, injections, phlebotomy, EKGs).
• Prepare and clean exam rooms for visits and procedures.
• Handle patient intake, triage, and document results as directed by staff.
• Maintain daily logs and documentation.
• Support administrative duties: pre-registration, scheduling, referrals, and eligibility checks.
• Provide courteous, efficient service to patients and visitors.
• Monitor inventory and restock supplies.
• Educate patients on medications, diets, and health topics.
