Job summary

Central Florida Health Care, Inc. seeks a Clinical Medical Assistant to provide direct and indirect patient care in the clinic under the Nurse Manager. The CMA must work well with the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and strong communication.

The candidate should graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program, be certified or registered (CMA/RMA/CMAC/NCMA/CCMA) and hold BLS certification. Phlebotomy skills and computer literacy are required; experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program from an accredited school.
• Certification: CMA / RMA / CMAC / NCMA / CCMA must be maintained.
• BLS Certification required.
• Phlebotomy skills required.
• Experience preferred.
• Computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Be familiar with CFHC’s program philosophies, goals and objectives and follow policies and procedures.
• Maintain safety regulations and OSHA/CLIA/COLA standards.
• Perform duties of a medical assistant competently.
• Follow CFHC’s Exposure Control Plan and use universal precautions.
• Assist with Quality Control logs and documentation.
• Perform in-house testing (EKGs) and timely report lab results to Nursing staff.
