Job summary

Central Florida Health Care, Inc. seeks a Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide direct and indirect patient care under the Nurse Manager. The role requires teamwork, strong communication, and adherence to CFHC policies and procedures.

The CMA will perform phlebotomy, manage charting, and assist with diagnostic procedures, while maintaining infection control and a professional clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program from an accredited school.
• Certification: CMA/CCMA/CMAC/NCMA/RMA through approved bodies and maintained during employment.
• BLS Certification required.
• Experience preferred; computer literacy expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under supervision of the Nurse Manager.
• Perform phlebotomy and waived lab work as trained.
• Accurately document patient information in Medical Records (SOAP).
• Follow CFHC policies and exposure control plans; practice universal precautions.
• Assist with diagnostic and treatment procedures as directed by clinicians.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and adhere to infection control policies.
