Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide patient care under the direction of a physician or APP in an ambulatory setting. Schedule is Monday–Friday 8am–5pm in the Endocrinology department at 14014 N 45th Street, Tampa, FL.

The role requires completion of approved CMA training (or equivalent work experience), active BLS, and CMA/CCMA/CMAC/NCMA certifications. Responsibilities include patient data collection, exam preparation, and documentation in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of Medical Assistant training from an approved technical school or 1+ year of CMA work experience.
• Maintains current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification.
• Maintains current CMA/CCMA/CMAC/NCMA/NRCMA/NRCAMA/RMA certification or registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under physician/APP supervision in ambulatory settings.
• Gather patient data through interviews and observation.
• Assist patients and families with exam preparation and during examinations.
• Document data, treatments, and education in the electronic medical record.
• Support scheduling and coordination for specialty tests or consultations.

Education
