Job summary

Central Florida Health Care, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) to support adult patient care in the Dundee clinic.

The CMA will work under the nurse/clinical leadership, delivering direct and indirect patient care and collaborating with the clinical team to optimize health outcomes. The role requires graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program, active CMA/RMA/CMAC/NCMA/CCMA certification, and BLS at minimum.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program from an accredited school.
• Certification: CMA/ RMA/ CMAC/ NCMA/ CCMA must be current throughout employment.
• BLS Certification required.
• Experience preferred.
• Computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Be familiar with CFHC’s program philosophies, goals and objectives; comply with CFHC policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Perform the duties of a medical assistant.
• Follow CFHC’s Exposure Control Plan and universal precautions in clinical settings.
• Represent CFHC in the community and participate in outreach as requested by leadership.
• Report to the CMO any information affecting patient care or CFHC liability.
• Attend mandatory CFHC meetings and collaborate with the clinical team.
• Maintain neat, professional appearance and support coworkers.
