Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide medication administration and direct resident care in accordance with individual care plans and state regulations in Georgia.

The role requires maintaining accurate medication documentation, stocking medication areas, and coordinating with pharmacies, Wellness Director, and families. Training for care associates and orientation support are also included.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Active CMA license with the Georgia CMA Registry is required.
• Ability to read and comprehend physician orders and resident care plans.
• Ability to effectively present information to residents, families, and staff; use good judgment in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Administer and assist with resident medications per policies and Georgia rules.
• Keep medication documentation current (orders, changes, forms).
• Maintain stocked medication carts and rooms with prescribed meds.
• Notify Wellness Director of status changes and at‑risk residents.
• Coordinate medication orders with pharmacies and update care plans as needed.
• Oversee care plan charting by Resident Assistants.
