Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, CA, seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to support patient care and clinic operations. You will assist with patient intake, documentation, medications, and vaccines, and help prepare exam rooms while maintaining stock and cleanliness.

You will ensure accurate electronic charting, assist with referrals and testing, and collaborate with front-office staff to optimize patient flow and care quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of a Certified Medical Assistant program
• Current CMA or RMA certification
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Previous work experience in a medical clinic with electronic medical record usage
• Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service
• Ability to communicate clearly in English

Responsabilités

• Provide excellent patient care and support to clinicians
• Assist with patient intake, documentation, and medication administration
• Prepare exam rooms and restock supplies
• Maintain accurate charting in the EMR and ensure CMS Meaningful Use compliance
• Assist front office workflow and schedule follow-up appointments
• Adhere to infection control and safety policies
• Respond to patient requests and coordinate with providers
