Wilson Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Wilson, NC is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to administer prescribed medications under nurse supervision and to support resident health and comfort.

The role requires CMA and CNA certifications in North Carolina. PRN positions cover day, evening, and night shifts, with a focus on safety, documentation, and collaboration with licensed staff to ensure high-quality resident care.

Formación

• CMA Certification in the state of North Carolina
• CNA Certification in the state of North Carolina
• Knowledge of the five rights of medication administration

Responsabilidades

• Administers medications as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Notifies licensed staff when a resident reports pain
• Takes and records resident vital signs as required by medications
• Records medication administrations and treatments in the facility system
• Responds to resident call lights and checks on residents as assigned
• Observes and reports adverse drug reactions to a licensed nurse
• Ensures resident safety and quality in all care activities
• Administers PRN medications as per policy and regulations
• Documents changes in resident condition or behavior as needed
