Job summary

Woods Services seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to deliver direct patient care and assist clinicians with examinations and procedures. You will manage EMR documentation, handle phlebotomy, EKGs, and basic patient assessments, while coordinating with nursing and front desk staff.

The role requires CMA certification, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, compliant environment at our on-site medical center.

Qualifications

• Active CMA certification from an accredited state program is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate degree is preferred.
• Experience with medical office procedures and EMR systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assist with basic examinations and procedures.
• Update and maintain EMR and convert paper records to electronic format.
• Perform phlebotomy and basic diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Support front desk and administrative duties to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
