Job summary

Community Health Systems seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide patient care under physician supervision. The role supports clinical and administrative tasks, including exams, room readiness, patient intake, and efficient clinic operations while delivering excellent service.

The CMA will assist with procedures, maintain logs, coordinate referrals, and educate patients on medications and health topics in a dynamic outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or externship required.
• Knowledge of medical office procedures and patient care techniques.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow clinical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient care.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms for visits and procedures.
• Manage patient intake, test results and triage calls.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation.
