Harbor Health is seeking skilled Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) with administration experience to join our growing team in San Antonio, TX. We are a new multi-specialty clinic group focused on co-creating health with those who get, give, and pay for it, enabling everyone to flourish.

As a key member of our clinical team, you will help ensure smooth clinic operations, deliver compassionate, member-centered care, and support the payvider model.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CMA certification or ability to renew/apply for certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in primary care or similar clinical environment.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Proficiency in entering information into EHR systems and compiling reports.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Excellent customer service and the ability to organize and prioritize workload.
• Professional communication with diverse groups and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinical team to execute care tasks as ordered by providers.
• Perform administrative duties: check in/check out, verify insurance, schedule appointments.
• Deliver care per each member's care plan.
• Perform intake, collect lab specimens, and administer immunizations.
• Document accurately in EMR.
• Assist with minor procedures and general support for the clinical team.
• Open and close daily clinic operations.
• Support the care team to meet member needs and proper hand-offs.
