Job summary

Adams Health in Decatur, IN is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide clinical, clerical, and administrative support to physicians and the healthcare team.

The CMA will room patients, document vitals, assist with procedures, schedule appointments, coordinate pre-certifications, and maintain an organized clinical area to promote positive patient experiences.

Eligible for medical coverage on your first day, benefits begin the first of the month following hire.

Qualifications

• CMA certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• 40 hours per week - First Shift.
• Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM.

Description

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) provides clinical, clerical, and administrative support to physicians and the healthcare team to facilitate efficient office operations and quality patient care. Responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, assisting with procedures and in-office testing, scheduling appointments, coordinating pre-certifications and referrals, and maintaining an organized clinical environment. The CMA collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to promote positive patient experiences and support the mission, vision, and values of Adams Health.

Eligible for medical coverage on your first day of employment, all other benefits will be effective the 1st of the month following hire date!

Requirements

40 hours per week - First Shift

Monday - Friday

7:30 AM - 5:30 PM

CMA Certification Required or Obtained Within 6 Months of Hire
