Job summary

Adams Medical Group - Monroe located in Monroe, IN is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support clinical and administrative functions. The CMA will take vital signs, prepare patients, and assist with medication administration, while also handling scheduling, registration, and insurance verification to ensure smooth clinic operations.

The role requires CMA-RMA certification and BLS/CPR, with a 36-hour work week, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• CMA-RMA certification required and current.
• BLS/CPR certification required or current.
• Ability to manage front-desk tasks and medical records.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and prepare patients for care.
• Administer medications as directed and update records.
• Schedule appointments, register patients, verify insurance.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide quality care.

Description

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) at AMG - Monroe is essential in ensuring smooth clinic operations by providing vital clinical support, such as taking vital signs, preparing patients, administering medications, and updating records, while also managing administrative duties like scheduling, registration, phone communication, insurance verification, and maintaining patient confidentiality, all of which contribute to delivering high-quality patient care.

Eligible for medical coverage on your first day of employment, all other benefits will be effective the 1st of the month following hire date!

Requirements:

36 hours per week - First Shift

Monday - Friday

7 :30 AM to 5:00 PM

CMA or RMA Certification

BLS/CPR Certification
