Job summary

Open Sky Community Services' Clubhouses are part of the Massachusetts Clubhouse Coalition, serving adults recovering from mental illness by providing meaningful tasks to build employment skills and community connections.

The Clubhouse Support Staff help manage Work Ordered Day, Employment, Education and Social Programs, lead activities, assist with transportation, and recruit members. Open Sky emphasizes inclusion, trauma-informed culture, and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Experience with individuals living with persistent mental health conditions preferred.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• The Clubhouse Support Staff facilitate participation for all aspects of the Clubhouse among members, including Work Ordered Day, Employment, Supported Education, and Social Program.
• They also lead activities and encourage active participation among members, assist members in finding meaningful employment and support individuals as they learn new skills and connect to the community.
• Will be trained on and will uphold the philosophy and concepts of the Fountain House Model.
• Assist members in accessing transportation and/or provide needed transportation.
• Coordinate operational activities in the unit including member recruitment, scheduling, cleaning, maintenance.
• Market the Clubhouse to inactive members, businesses, and other community members.
