Job summary

The Jupiter Island Club in Hobe Sound, FL is seeking a Club Services Representative year-round to greet and register Members and guests, provide prompt and courteous service, and close out Member accounts upon checkout. You will respond to inquiries, coordinate with other departments, and ensure guest safety and satisfaction.

Knowledge of club offerings, menus, dress codes, hours, and accommodations is essential, as is familiarity with daily administrative tasks and cash handling.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with at least six months related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous country club or luxury hotel experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Processing Member/Guest arrival and departure experience.
• Answering and transferring internal and external calls.
• Responding to inquiries regarding reservations, club & event information, and Member concerns in a timely fashion.
• Building strong relationships and coordinating with all other departments.
• Ensuring safety by following check-in and security procedures and reporting hazards.
• Completing all shift checklists and reviewing arrivals.
• Utilizing computer systems and maintaining desk organization.
• Managing a cash bank and related reports.
• Assisting Members with shipping & receiving and with lost & found.
• Assisting with event-related tasks as needed.
• Handling general administration, clerical, and billing tasks daily.
• Maintaining knowledge of all club offerings, services, hours, menus, dress codes, and accommodations.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Club Services Representative greets and registers Members, Member families, and their guests;providespromptandcourteousservice;andclosesoutMemberaccountsuponcompletion of stay. Assists Members and guests efficiently and courteously in all functions, whileprojectinghighstandardsofserviceandalways exuding professional hospitality. Responds to a wide variety of requests by accurately assessing the Member needs and requests then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum Member satisfaction, while complying with all Club policies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Responsible for processing Member/Guest arrival and departure experience.

Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, club & event information, and Member concerns in a timely fashion.

Completes all checklist items for the appropriate shift.

Review arrivals and understand any special requests/needs.

Utilizes a variety of computer systems.

Ensure the desk is properly stocked and maintains a clean work environment.

Manages a cash bank and completes necessary, related reports.

Assists Members with shipping & receiving.

Flexibility to assist with a variety of event-related tasks, as needed.

Assists Members with lost & found.

Maintain complete knowledge of all Club restaurant food concepts, menus and dress code.

Maintain complete knowledge of all Club Day/nightlife concepts, menu, dress code

Maintain complete knowledge of all Club accommodations types/names, layout, amenities, and locations

Maintain complete knowledge of all Club accommodations rates, special packages, and promotions

Maintain complete knowledge of daily arrival & departure lists, special requests, Member profiles, scheduled daily group and/or event activities, names, and location of meeting/banquet rooms local events, attractions, holiday schedules

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED, and a minimum of six-month related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous Country Club or luxury hotel experience would be advantageous.
