Job summary

ACAC Charlottesville is looking for aManager on Duty to maintain exceptional service, safety, and club operations. You will be the go-to leader across departments, handling emergencies, guiding staff, and ensuring a five-star guest experience.

Key tasks include quick responses to incidents, regular walkthroughs, supervising classes and front-desk activity, and supporting the sales team during tours. This role requires strong leadership, enthusiasm, and flexibility across shifts.

Qualifications

• Leadership and coaching skills in fast-paced settings.
• Excellent communication with guests and teammates.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily club operations to ensure smooth and safe service.
• Monitor fitness floor and engagement with members to maintain high energy and etiquette.
• Respond to emergencies and file incident reports when needed.
• Fill in across departments to cover staffing gaps and support team members.
• Provide tours to prospective members when required and assist sales.
