Job Summary

The Club Manager is responsible for all club operations under the supervision of the Senior General Manager. This includes ensuring that the operational and financial goals are met, creating member experiences that produce Raving Fans, and developing and leading a staff of servant leaders whose mission is to transform the lives of those they serve.

Essential Job Functions

  • Ensure club is fully staffed, and the team performs to NFP standards. This includes building a bench with team members. Responsible for recruitment and staffing: tactics, pre-screens, interviews, and hiring decisions. Provide backup support as needed.
  • Consistently achieve monthly goals, including drivers and KPIs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment for all members.
  • Manage club labor, ensure payroll accuracy by validating employee timecards, approving payroll, and scheduling shifts efficiently.
  • Ensure assigned clubs are clean, well-maintained, and safe. Maintain at least a passing Club BER inspection monthly.
  • Hold staff accountable to policies and procedures. Provide coaching, counseling, and progressive discipline (up to termination).
  • Drive membership sales, focus on DGR goals, and participate in community outreach.
  • Invest in staff training and development to enhance skills and performance.
  • Assess areas of need, develop, and execute plans of correction.
  • Update Senior General Manager on club progress weekly.
  • Attend and participate in Regional Meetings.
  • Complete One-on-Ones on time with development goals.
  • Model Servant Leadership through daily interactions.
  • Work alongside staff, support front desk activities, give tours, use Ignite for member management, and maintain club standards.
  • Report member accidents timely through NFP process.
  • Additional responsibilities may be required.
