Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware seeks a Club Director to provide day-to-day operational leadership at a designated Club location, driving program quality, staff development, and fiscal management. The role emphasizes DEI-aligned behaviors and collaboration within a regional network to improve outcomes for youth.

Responsibilities include leading program delivery across licensed childcare, sports and recreation, education, arts, health and wellness, and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of youth development, strategic planning, board development, and resource management.
• Four-year degree from an accredited college or university preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading and supervising a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for the successful operation of the Club.
• Collaborate with Area Clubs to enhance programming and impact, optimize resource use.
• Ensure high standards of program delivery: licensed childcare, sports, education, arts, health and wellness, character and leadership.
• Lead staff development, trainings, observations, and performance monitoring.
• Oversee safety, regulatory compliance, and emergency planning; manage facilities.
• Support fundraising and community partnerships; maintain strong stakeholder relations.
