Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a restaurant, hotel, or related field.
• Proven track record in successfully assisting all banquet functions and events.
• Food safety and alcohol beverage certification.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, guests, and employees in a warm, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain high standards of appearance and grooming; wear proper uniform.
• Assist management with hiring qualified staff.
• Comply with Club standards, policies, and regulations for safe operations.
• Maintain regular attendance as scheduled by the Club.
• Attend weekly meetings; coordinate staffing for events with management.
• Manage and supervise member events/banquets per client specs and BEO.
• Supervise room setup per event order specs and Club standards.
• Visually inspect function rooms and equipment for cleanliness and inventory.
• Hold pre-shift lineups; relay information to staff for proper execution.
• Interpret function diagrams with Catering; ensure staff arrive in uniform.
• Communicate with kitchen and service staff during events.
• Train and supervise staff; monitor performance during events.
• Supervise cleanup, breakdown, and storage of equipment.
• Assist servers to ensure event success.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with laws.
• Process billing using POS with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Follow food safety and health regulations; uphold Club standards.
• Manage daily operations of restaurant, snack bar, and pool service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
