Job summary

Eastern Carver County Schools seeks a Club Care Assistant for Chanhassen Elementary. You will care for students in before/after school programs and assist with activities and daily needs, while guiding on-site paraprofessionals.

Start date is ASAP with a year-round schedule; hours are 6:30am-8:30am and 1:00pm-6:00pm. Salary is $22.66/hr (Tier 4) with bonuses; benefits are negotiated with the district.

Qualifications

• Current first aid certification required or willing to obtain.
• Experience working with elementary aged children.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for students in the program and assist in activities and daily needs on site.
• Give direction to paraprofessionals on site.

Position Days/Hours: Monday - Friday; 6:30am - 8:30am & 1:00pm - 6:00pm; Year-Round
Salary: $22.66/hr. (Tier 4)
*An extra $31.49/day will be earned when working a split shift on student contact days*
Responsible To: Child Care Specialist and Director of Community Education
$500 Hiring Bonus: One-time payment upon successful completion of probationary employment period(120 days)
$250 Referral Bonus

Position Purpose: Provide care for students in program and assist in activities and everyday needs of the site. Give direction to paraprofessionals on site.

Qualifications: Current first aid certification (have or willing to obtain); experience working with elementary aged children.

Benefits of Employment: Eligible for benefits as negotiated between Student Support Staff (MSEA Association) and District 112. This position is eligible for overtime and comp time.
